The Freeze-Thaw Palette

This time of year in the midwest can have you shoveling snow or, on a day like today, contemplating a gray-skied rainy afternoon. Most of the snow has melted and we are left with the subtle palette of residual snow winter. Ok, yes and part of the subtlety is looking past the obvious grimness of it all and trying to find some beauty. I admit it, it can be a challenge!
